Nature photography competition results!
Announcing …
The winner of the photography competition
Thank you to all those who entered the photography competition. The standard of entry was very high and I received some outstanding shots.
The winning prize is awarded to Nicola Knott for her beautiful close up of a red admiral.
Wildlife photographers will know that patience and minimal movement are required together with lightening speed and a super steady hand. It also helps to know a little bit about the habits and habitat of your intended subject. Hence the prize is a little Dorling Kindersley book full of photos and information on our native butterflies.
Well done to all the entrants and thank you for entering into the spirit!
