Village Hall News
Following the devastating fire last September we have finally reached a settlement with the insurers. A contract has been issued and DNH will start repairing the roof in early May. Following 8 months of being exposed to the elements, the hall will need some time to dry out but will eventually have a new floor, lower ceiling, better lighting, insulation and heating, as well as a new coat of paint, by the end of November. A social event to let everybody see the ’new’ hall will be announced later in the year.
The village hall is currently not available to hire as it was greatly damaged by a fire.
